Does the VI Peel hurt?
Most people feel mild warmth and tingling while the peel is applied, and it fades quickly. It is generally very well tolerated and no numbing is needed.
How long is the downtime after a VI Peel?
There is little social downtime on the first two days. Peeling usually starts around day 3 and finishes by about day 7. Most people go about their normal routine, with SPF and gentle skincare.
How many VI Peels will I need?
Most people see a visible difference after one peel. For the best result, VI recommends a series of 3 to 6 peels spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, then about 4 peels a year (one each season) to maintain it.
Is the VI Peel safe for darker skin tones?
