- Pause all retinol-based products at least 3 days ahead
- Stop prescription-strength retinoids 7 days before your visit
- Accutane users must wait a minimum of 6 months
- Limit direct UV exposure in the week leading up to treatment
- Hold off on antibiotics (both oral and topical) for 7 days
- Come in with a freshly washed, product-free face
After Your Treatment
- Use only the post-procedure serum provided by your PURE aesthetician on day one
- Switch to the included recovery product beginning the next morning
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher before any sun exposure the day after
- Stick to a mild, fragrance-free cleanser with lukewarm water for two days
- Skip the gym, pools, and steam rooms for a full 24 hours
- Wait 7 days before reintroducing retinols, AHAs, BHAs, or prescription actives
- Stay out of prolonged, direct sunlight for at least 24 hours
